MVE PTA Teacher Grants Program
The MVE PTA is proud to support our teachers through our annual Teacher Grants Program. We believe the best ideas come from the educators who know our students best, and this program empowers grade-level teams and specialist departments to identify and request resources that directly enhance learning.
📅 Grant Cycle: January 13 – May 1, 2027
How It Works
- Team-Based Applications: Each grade level team (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, etc.) and department (Art, Music, PE, etc.) must work together to determine their needs and submit one (1) grant request for their entire team. This ensures funds are used collaboratively and benefit the most students .
- Allocated Funds: Each team has a set amount available to them. This is not a competitive, first-come-first-served model. If a team submits a well-planned request, they will receive funding.
- Eligibility: The lead applicant on the grant request must be a current MVE PTA member in good standing. This is a common and best-practice requirement, ensuring that recipients are part of the PTA community.

It is important to note that the PTA yearly budget changes based on the financial abilities of our non-profit. As of August 2026 our budgeted amount for teacher grant is set to a max of $1000. Meaning we will only be able to prove $1000 worth of teacher grants in total.
Application Process
- Build Your Team: Meet with your grade level or department colleagues and discuss your shared needs.
- Complete the Form: Fill out the online MVE Teacher Grant Application Form.
- Get Principal Approval: Ensure your team's request includes a section for the principal's approval to confirm it aligns with school priorities .
- Submit: Submit your application by the May 1st deadline.
- Receive & Report: If approved, you will receive funding. Please provide the PTA with a copy of the purchase receipt and a brief summary of how the grant was used to support student learning.
